Yogi Chi (Yogi Tea)

This is a good warming night-time drink for the cooler months. Makes 1 cup.

  • 1 c rice milk (or soya milk, milk etc.)
  • 1/4 c water
  • 2 inch piece of cinnamon stick (or pinch of powder)
  • 1 clove
  • 4 slices of root ginger (or a pinch of dry ginger)
  • 1 cardamom pod
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Honey / sugar to taste

In a small pan bring everything except the cardamom to the boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add the cardamom, cover and let sit for 10 minutes. Then add sweetener to taste.
